KATIE'S WISHFUL LIVING ROOM
"Keep the eye interested! I love completed spaces that truly do this well. Throw in a bit of Navy Blue and this girl is happy! "
JENN'S WISHFUL LIVING ROOM
"Multifunctional spaces! The Dining Room can easily convert to an office space, and the Living Room is perfect for relaxing or entertaining family and friends."
KATRINA'S WISHFUL LIVING ROOM
"I love everything about this space... but I can't help but notice the large supply of ciroc on the bar cart in the back! This homeowner is ready to entertain alright!"
These are three very different rooms, but they actually have a lot in common. You can see that each room has varying textures of leather, natural wood, fur, velvet, and concrete. By adding textures to your design, you create a more intricate, welcoming, and interesting space with all the feels. You can also see that each room features the ultimate accessory: plants and fresh florals. Indoor plants help improve air quality, reduce stress, and create a feeling of well-being. Throw some stunning florals in a vase to create a focal point (or olfactory point), and you'll soon find out that your guests don't want to leave. Aroma can be the first thing people notice when they walk in the door and remove their shoes, so make it a welcoming one! A bouquet or some candles is the perfect way to create the ambiance you're looking for while entertaining. The last thing you might have noticed is all the throw pillows. This is a great way to add pattern, colour, and texture to your space without committing to anything permanent. A sofa without throw pillows is a lot less inviting, and you miss out on the opportunity to easily elevate your space.
We've put together a little gallery with our favourite throw pillows and coffee table accessories:
